Join naturalist Rebecca Lexa on Sunday, August 21, for an easy Leadbetter Point hike through diverse habitats with enchanting views. 

Bay Loop: .5 mileThis easy trail takes you along the scenic bay where information panels share stories about the bay's bird life and salt marsh habitat. 

Bearberry Trail: 1.3 mile. Trek across the peninsula on this easy trail to sandy beaches. Along the way look for the low-growing bearberry carpeting the forest understory. 

Beach Trail: .25 mile. This beach route offers the promise of viewing hundreds of thousands of shorebirds in spring and fall. 

Weather Beach Trail: .5 mile. Return to the parking lot on this trail. Along the way you will see seasonal wetlands within the dunes that support life in the harsh landscape.

Meet at the Refuge parking lot at the northernmost end of Stackpole Road 1.5 miles from the state park entrance.  A Washington State Discover Pass is required for parking - https://www.discoverpass.wa.gov/
