Environmental Education

The Refuge and the Friends offer an environmental education program for all Pacific County 4th graders. Our goals are to develop children’s knowledge of the natural world and to inspire stewardship. This science-based program offers classroom lessons, followed by a field trip to the Refuge. We also hope that they bring their families to the Refuge later to discover its wonders.
