After over a year of closure for repairs, these beloved trails will be back open for public enjoyment. U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service staff and volunteers will lead guided hikes and activities!

An Opening Ceremony will start at 8:45am, followed by guided hikes offered each hour at 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00am. During this time there will also be family-friendly activities such as arts & crafts from 9:00am – 12:00pm!

The Art Trail is a beautiful boardwalk that winds along an estuarine creek with various art pieces placed along it that tell the stories of the habitat and wildlife. This boardwalk trail is rated as Easy and is considered accessible. From the boardwalk, Cutthroat Climb trail takes you up onto the forested hill through the deep woods of old-growth hemlocks and ferns. This trail is rated as Moderate to Difficult, as there are some steep stairs and trail portions.
